Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu collected ₹0.61 Cr net at the India box office on Day 2 (2nd Saturday · 23 May 2026), dropped from Day 1's ₹1.21 Cr (-49.6%). The film's 2-day cumulative net now stands at ₹1.82 Cr.

Theatre occupancy on Day 2 was recorded at 6.1%, placing the film in the MID occupancy bracket. Independent led the multiplex chains with 9.2% occupancy across 262 theatres and 733 shows. A total of 45,754 tickets were sold in 2,094 shows across 727 theatres on the day.

On the language front, the English version reported 5.1% occupancy across 1,053 shows with 13,355 tickets sold;  the Hindi version reported 5.0% occupancy across 1,044 shows with 12,531 tickets sold.  The English version leads the occupancy chart.

Geographically, Tamil Nadu leads all reporting states with 14.0% occupancy, while Chennai tops among metros at 19.0%. At the other end, West Bengal posted the softest state numbers at 3.1%. 1 state — Tamil Nadu — crossed the HIGH ≥ 10% occupancy threshold, signalling strong pockets of audience demand.

The film's performance through 2nd Saturday · 23 May 2026 will be a key indicator for its theatrical run.
